Reward charts for positive behavior are a tool many parents use to encourage good manners and completion of daily tasks. No matter the type of parenting style, at one point most parents will have to assume the role of reprimanding their children for poor behavior, all while keeping the home environment positive and encouraging. When combined, this is not always an easy task. It's a well known fact that most people respond to positive encouragement.
